Late 19th or early 20th century 13cm long x 9cm wide
This fixture was placed on a horse's shoe so that it did not mark lawns, etc. It is thought to have come from either Brough Lodge or Leagarth House, where there were tennis lawns, which may have been mowed using horse-drawn mowers.
