Coutts family
Frankie Coutts in the front room at Feal with his youngest son, John. Frankie Coutts had grown up at Houbie, as one of a large family. He was invalided out of the First World War when he lost his right eye, and he became manager of the Home Farm at Leagarth. Feal was built in 1922 by Sir William Watson Cheyne to house Frankie and his family.
